Homer was 2 years old on July 1st. He has a vocabulary of over 40 words and numerous household sounds. His favorite phrase is "Homer go outside? It's a birdie". He likes to sit on his outside perch and visit with the wild birds. He can imitate all of them and I noticed that some of them are starting to pick up his chirps.

Homer goes everywhere with me. He rides in his tote when we go for walks, and in a backpack on my back while we are quadding in the mountains. He loves to ride on the rim of the kayak, but if the waves splash too much, he retreats into the boat.

Homer has travelled all over western Canada. He has a special perch in the van and sings with the radio at the top of his lungs while we are driving.
