.
When I first met Chesney I didn't bother consider buying him.
First of all I'm a broke student and Chesney was $2000, also I knew how much time and
care they required and didn't think I would be able to give him a
good enough home.
Still, this did not stop me from becoming obsessed with him.
Everyday for the next three weeks I took the hour long bus trip to west end
to go stand in front of Chesney's cage and talk to him and scratch his head,
all the while working two jobs.
I decided I couldn't live without him!!
So I found a way to pay for him and realized that if I'd been able to fit him into
my schedual when he was an hour away i could surely find time for
him when he was in my livingroom.
I've now had him for two wonderful months.
His birthday is December 24th 2006.
He's my little baby. Everynight we cuddle for as long as I can sit still.
He can say a couple of words and makes dozens of funny whistels and sounds.
His favorite is "peek-a-boo".
He spends his days playing on his play gym or climbing on his cage.
He's such a light in my life.
I find it very hard to be sad or stressed when such a beautiful and
inteligent creature greets you with a happy chirp.
Sadly he's made it very clear that he does not like my roommate Bri.
She's still trying to win him over.
I'm sure one day they'll get along but there's no rush because I plan on having Chesney for
the rest of his life!
